Celebrate Beaujolais Nouveau Day At Loulou

Please come and join us at Loulou for the  ‘Beaujolais Nouveau’ day celebration Thursday the 17th of November.

Historically, ‘Beaujolais Nouveau’ was made to celebrate the end of the harvest. Under French law, the wines were released on the third Thursday in November, just after midnight to be exact. Just weeks after the September’s ‘vendage’, where the grapes were harvested.

This quickly was labelled as ‘Beaujolais Nouveau Day’ and people were racing to Markets to buy these wines which are light, fresh, fruity, and often drunk chilled.

Traditionally, Beaujolais Nouveau day is celebrated in the French region of Beaujolais with is 30 kilometres northeast of Lyon, and this special day we will bring Beaujolais to you.

We will offer a choice of 3 different Beaujolais by the glass, from a lighter, fruitier style from the Cru of Chiroubles, a classic, smooth style from a broader appellation of Beaujolais Village to a structured, complex, and silky style from the Cru of Morgon.

We are looking forward to seeing you there and toast to this wonderful day celebration, à votre santé
